The connection between our minds and bodies is an important one, and it's getting decreasingly clear that our physical health is nearly tied to our internal health. Exercise has been shown to have multitudinous benefits for both physical and internal well-being, including reducing stress and perfecting mood. This is because exercise can increase situations of serotonin and dopamine, which are neurotransmitters that play a part in regulating mood.

 

Exercise has been shown to be effective in treating depression, with some studies showing that it can be just as effective as drugs or remedies.   Of course, it's worth noting that exercise isn't a nostrum for internal health problems. However, it's important to seek professional help from a therapist or healthcare provider, if you're floundering with an internal health condition. Still, incorporating exercise into your routine can be a helpful supplement to other forms of treatment.  

 

So how important exercise do you need to see benefits for internal health? The good news is that indeed small quantities of exercise can be helpful. A 2019 study set up that just 15 twinkles of moderate-intensity exercise per day were associated with a lower threat of depression. Of course, further exercise is generally better, but indeed a little bit can go a long way.
